Poppy comes from a background in plant science, she completed a Masters studying stomata, the tiny pores on plant leaves that regulate gas exchange, and disseminated plant science research at an open access publisher. She was gripped by the challenge faced by both scientists and farmers to feed the growing population under the constraint of climate change. Poppy will be drawing from her research experience and passion for open knowledge to share opinionated analysis on the developing carbon removal landscape.
